SACRUN Mission Statement
To promote UN reform through non-violent activism, and to educate the U.S. public about the United Nations, its progress, and possible solutions to its problems.

Who We Are

The Student Action Committee for Reform of the United Nations is a non-profit, non-partisan group dedicated to the promotion of UN reform through peaceful activism, and to the education of the U.S. public about the UN, its progress, and possible solutions to its problems.

How We're Different

UN reform has largely remained within the conventional model. As its name suggests, the United Nations serves primarily as a forum for national governments to pursue their interests at the global level, which may or may not reflect the interests of their citizens.

SACRUN supports fundamental changes within the UN. We recognize the powerful role of students and youth to propel these changes and we seek to promote greater awareness among the U.S. public of the urgent need for such changes now.
