UN Reforms We Call For

- Separate legislative, executive, and judiciary branches

- UN Parliament that represents citizens rather than nations

- Elimination of the veto power of the Security Council's five permanent members

- Enforcement of international treaties through world courts

- Increased accountability and

- transparency within UN organs

SACRUN's Approach

- On-campus activities that educate students about the UN (i.e. global issues and the Millenium Development Goals) in a fun, accessible way

- Outreach to other universities and high schools to develop a network of dedicated students working under one cohesive strategy
